For several weeks after the previous post the class searched second life, looking for free items and learning how second life runs.

Along the way I had my first experience with camping pads, I earned some lindens which I then hastily spent on "rave effects", this is merely a large collection of attachable particle effects ranging from simple to page covering and bizarre.

During one particular lesson I left my computer for a while only to return and find my Second Life character lying on a sofa in a Japanese Gay Bar. It didn't seem like my idea of a good time, but the people around my computer thought it should be.
I had the last laugh when I found the spa baths and everyone wanted in.

During another lesson i stumbled across an island which featured many free costumes and items from various movies, here i am kicking Beowulf into the bottomless pit from the movie 300.

In another free costume location, Tony, Sean, Callum, James and I dressed the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers and took to the streets to fight crime.

On a slow day in class I acquired a few more free items and costume. I also found a witty little poster explaining a Zombie Emergency Procedure.

Each class moved into their own apartments and started to fill them each with the furniture they would need for their machinima. I fitted my room with a dance ball and within minutes the room was filled with people dancing in unison to Tony playing the guitar.
To test the speech capabilities of Second Life we plugged in microphones to get reactions out of the characters.
